Why async voice feedback

Calls are useful when a conversation needs follow-up, trust, or a real-time decision. Forms are useful for ratings and structured fields. Both can be excessive when you need one first answer.

Voice preserves delivery and emphasis while the transcript makes the words easier to review. It gives people another response format, not a guarantee of longer or more honest answers.

How HeySpeak works

You create a Magic Link with one question. You share it by email, LinkedIn, or text. The recipient opens it in a supported browser, records within the limit you set, and sends. They do not need a HeySpeak account or app. A written response or calendar can be available when configured.

On your side, every voice note is transcribed by Voxtral and summarized by Mistral. You scan the AI summary in seconds, open the transcript when you want detail, or play the audio when you want to hear the tone. Processing time can vary with recording length, language, and service availability.

Who builds HeySpeak

HeySpeak is built by Thomas Lorenz, a product builder based in Bremen, Germany. Background in political science, seven years of work across no-code, AI tooling, and B2B SaaS. The team page has the long version.

Where the data lives

The data flow uses several infrastructure and processing providers. Regions, subprocessors, retention, and contractual terms can change. Read the current data-protection page and DPA before approving a sensitive or regulated use case.
